About Us

MyDMU (mydmu.com) is a help site for students who use the De Montfort University student portal and app. It explains how the portal works, answers the questions students ask most often, and provides a direct download of the MyDMU app.

What you will find here

• A nine-part guide covering sign-in, installation, the timetable, notifications, linked services, troubleshooting, events, and the finance and letters tiles.
• A direct download of the MyDMU Android app.
• A FAQ section with short, direct answers.

How the content is written

Articles are based on the public app store listings, the university's own portal information pages, and feedback students have posted publicly. Where a feature is planned rather than live, the article says so. Content is reviewed when the app or portal changes.

Our relationship with DMU

MyDMU is a third-party information site. It is not operated by De Montfort University and has no access to student accounts, timetables or records. For account problems, the university IT service desk is the right contact.
