Most MyDMU issues come down to four things: the account, the session, the app version, or the device settings. Work through the checks below in order and you will usually find the fix within a few minutes.
This is the most reported issue. Session length is controlled by university account security policy, so there is no switch inside the app. What helps:
If you are logged out dozens of times a day, report it through the app so the team has examples to investigate.
Never sign in through a page that reached you by text message or an unfamiliar email link. Open MyDMU from the app or your own bookmark.
The home screen is personalised, so tiles depend on your student status. If a tile you need is missing, pull down to refresh. If it still does not appear, your record may be waiting on registration. Contact your faculty advice centre rather than IT.
See the timetable guide for registration-related causes. For an app that shows a blank timetable while the web portal shows the correct one, sign out, close the app, and sign back in.
Too many failed password attempts lock the university account for a period. Wait, then use the password reset tool if you are unsure of the password. The IT service desk can unlock the account if the wait does not clear it.
Email the IT service desk with your P-number, device model, app version and a short description of what happens. A screenshot of any error message speeds things up considerably.
